I have to take the card out to transfer photos. This camera is a few years old as far as when it was built. They also are not going to repair your camera just to change out the sensor. It looks like the entire image is smeared down uniformly.

I posted this a few days ago. But, after repeated requests to talk to a supervisor I was told I may not. This is a problem in both the video and snapshot mode. Be sure you retrieve what you can from the card, then format it in your camera.
Taking all the screws out and fidling with the "wires" connecting the zoom control and the photo type selecto ...
