You need to insert discs nearly all the way before the drive will activate and pull them in. Mac Won't Read Discs You are a genius ! You Absolute hero, thanks so much, worked a treat! I was a bit skeptical at first, but it works GREAT. You may have to reset your computer clock after this procedure. If there aren't any raised labels then try putting the disc in a few more times.
