So am I and so do I. If your Mac doesn't have a built-in optical drive, you can use an external Apple USB SuperDrive with DVD Player.
So, I removed the DVD movie and I attempted to insert a blank DVD. If nothing you try works, it’s time to look at a replacement drive. It's possible that dust or lint inside the drive is preventing automatic disc ejections. Show this post Pah!
No more thinking of taking it to Apple Care or spending a bomb. No need to open the computer. Obviously there is a procedure to follow, you don't need to be a rocket scientist. The drives can read the Mac OSX install disc and but can't read any movie DVDs.
