I had major problems when my cat spilt a large glass of water on my keyboard.

  1. I did manage to restore and that went away, but was tricky since I couldn't use CTRL ALT DEL to get the computer to restart properly.
  2. Ok I found it.
  3. With the laptop shut down and turned off and the lid kept open, turn the whole thing upside down and shakecarefully.
  4. Nothing special there that was found.
  5. It does work with an external keyboard.

What can you do in this situation? If that works, and the keys work individually, then the keyboard is probably fine....but then the mystery deepens! Have you spilt anything on it recently?
