I have installed the sigmatel audio drivers. I upgraded to 2 gb of ram and put a fresh install of windows xp home edition complete with updated xp drivers. I did not have to uninstall the speaker after installing the original Dell audio program, thank goodness. Posted On: 2012-05-03 .

I can hear people fine, and when i press my ptt key, the green microphone lights up and xmit appears, but no one can hear a thing that i say. I ended up having to do system restore to get the driver back.
