Dell Inspiron 700m Sd Card Reader Not Working

I don't recall what version the 700M is running, but the wifi is fine. Here you can update Dell drivers and other drivers. I tried getting access too the setpci file, and without success tried modifying it via a recommendation on a forum. This past weekend for no apparent reason it shut down, completely, after logging in and running for 5 to 10 minutes. I am using Lubuntu 13.04 on this laptop and never had an issue.
