Dell Studio 15 Media Buttons Not Working

Been running fine then I pressed the MD button by mistake thinking it was the power button, it gets as far as 'Building you MD files' then says ''DMD cannot access go into the bios 2. Enough Said. Everything was working great, but all of a sudden, randomly the eject button started lighting up and trying to eject a cd. Mind you the Dell Media software is not installed. I would appreciate it!

If yes, can anyone please share their experiences/caveats etc. Remove the battery from the computer.
