I did change the filter because it was very dirty, and I also flipped the breakers but still no luck. Everything was working normally until recently, a technican told me that lightning could have been the cause. Air handler works. Turned it off, waited for another 10 minutes and turned the AC back on. Air is blowing but doesn't feel hot and certainly isnt cold. You could just pull it, take it with you to an electrical supply house, see if you can get a replacement, try that first at the cheapest possible cost if money

I replace the contactor and it kicked right off and ran great for about 3 days. Outside Ac Unit Not Running But Inside Is Is there anything these people could be missing? Pipe going from condenser into house isn't cold like usual as well. A short in the outdoor unit will trip the breaker immediately when the breaker is turned back on.
