There was another guy recently posting the exact same problem, and opened up his laptop to find there were chunks from an internal mounting broken and lodged in the fan exhaust You could reset CMOS which would rule out any BIOS issues.Also note that many MoBos will not allow the boot process to proceed if the header can not read the rpm My graphics card wheel thing spins, and my case fans spin as well.
