Leave the lens cap on (or get in a dark room) so that when you take a picture, the flash will trigger to go up. However, some of the most common problems can be solved with a bit of time and effort. it worked for me.. I tried turning the setting off and then turning the flash back on - nothing. Of course something may be broken... If you are confident that you can complete the project yourself, then it can save you quite a lot of money.
If yes, then the flash switch may be missing and needs to be replaced. I've looked in settings, but no matter what I do the flash is always still on. if i got an external flash would it still work even if the built in flash is broken?
