Car Headlight Not Working On One Side


So I spent a couple hours looking around here last night, and it seems that my model (2003 Jetta GLS TDI Wagon) headlamp has a dual filament bulb which could explain On older cars, the clean plastic headlight lens covers sometimes turn a dull, milky white color. Headlights Not Working But High Beams Are

Learn from the mistakes of others. On others, the bulb and ignitor are separate components, and can be replaced separately. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to the top of the bulb as you press it in to avoid cracking or breaking the glass. After repair I never lowered my headlight buckets again.

Already done: replaced headlight, checked all fuses, found continuity between the fuses and the headlight wires, and replaced the combination switch. Anyone with any suggestions? No blown fuses. He showed me that both the low and high beams were working on the passenger side now and the headlamp error message on the display disappeared.
