All this is to support scenarios where a system has multiple sound cards and/or active USB headsets/mics that are effectively a soundcard as far as OS is concerned. to test your setup If it works correctly, move on to the next section. have a look in Control Panel > Sounds and audio devices. Check the Connection Sometimes these types of errors are just a small oversight. I read all this, yes...
Also, make sure the mic is not too close to your mouth. Maybe the microphone is faulty I am not sure. If you're using a USB port on the front of your case, switch it to one of the ones in the back. I got these headphones since January 2015. If the back ones dont work it could be disabled in BIOS or have no drivers installed.Either way you certainly didn't need to buy a new soundcard to fix the issue. The headset that I have don't use a USB, they use jacks, I was looking for a headset with a USB. All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries.
Make sure that the detachable microphone is plugged firmly to the headphone and check if microphone is switched on on the in-line volume control. Yes, always has been activated "ON" to prove it.
