Not sure how it is with SL 4 and VS 2010, but I don't think things have changed all that much. And now my Task manager is also showing Visual Studio Remote Debugging Monitor from the X64 folder. The impression that other browsers don't work usually comes from problems of Visual Studio with connecting to the right process (what you describe in "Solution Three"). Nothing works. news

When you are attaching debugger to 'iexplorer' process click on the "Select" button, near "Attatch To" option and then select "Silverlight" code type. In order for ME (and please note you may have a different end result than I did here) was to do the following. I'm not sure what causes it. Finally, I deleted the hidden solution user options (.suo) file as mentioned here by Paul and after that things came to normal.
