Build Version Increment Not Working


A version number such as [assembly:AssemblyVersion("1.2.")] specifies 1 as the major version, 2 as the minor version, and accepts the default build and revision numbers. It's the only tool that is able to modify Assembly Info Version. After searching the internet I found the following blog post which I applied, but for some reason it was not working as expected.
