I'm not sure whats up I haven't had this card for long. At one point I noticed a popup "Creative Software update", and I made the stupid mistake to install the update. Immediately visited Creative Support site to download latest drivers and application software in the form of: SBXF_PCDRV_L11_2_30_0010.exe ALMY_PCW8APP_LB_1_45_01.exe Could not install either of those because Windows 10 threw up a message http://forums.creative.com/showthread.php?t=728198 Switch it from the default Gamer mode to Entertainment and it would start working.Its a known issue for this card, and I am not surprised since its pretty old and PCI.I

What I have showing under sound is SPDIF Out and Internal Aux jack as part of the X-Fi SB card... I keep loosing sound at random on boot-up sometimes and I will also loose sound sometimes after using that stupid X-FI sound mode switcher between Game Mode and Entertainment Mode. Click Properties.
