This is STUPID. Tried putting in other keyboards, external mouse, obviously had to keep the CD rom in there so couldn't remove that from one of the two USBs. Anyone have any idea what the hell is going on? Please help ! :) SOLUTION Turns out what I had to do was create the usb using the first two options in bootcamp assistant (setup usb and download support files).
